:::: LA CIE SOUND TRACK ::::

A shared approach around contemporary creation

sound track company is an association of artists, composers, musicians, videographers, filmmakers and visual artists, who engage in the creation of collective works.
Founded in 1990 around a small core of people, Sound Track works like an artists’network who, over time, meet and collaborate, depending on their shared experience, outside of any fixed structure. The association supports the creation of contemporary projects promoting a cross between music and visual arts and the development of spaces dedicated to reflection, research, experimentation and distribution.
Artistic choices are established over the course of collaborations, favouring multidisciplines and the research into digital tools. Musical creation, the centre of the group's initiative, is developed in tandem with the creative approach of invited artists and/or those who join the Sound Track network. For this, it is essential for each project to take the time needed for research and experimentation, encouraging artistic exchange.

A commitment

Based since its origins in Chaumont, Haute-Marne,Sound Track Company also defends works anchored in its region, involving the local population, especially those living in rural areas. This approach aims to bring contemporary art to places other than traditional sites, bringing it closer to the people. The presence of artists in the area helps encourage exchange and strengthens ties beyond social and professional categories. This approach, initiated by the composer Patricia Dallio, is relayed today by all the artists in the network.

«  I thrive on exchange, that which makes us different. I love this meeting of another, who, at the same time, gives you their interpretation of who you are, and sheds a light on who you could be. » Patricia Dallio
